We recommend you do a complete scan of your computer at least once per week and perform a quick scan at any time you feel your computer is not performing as you would expect.
Signs of a spyware infection may include sluggish performance, pop-up ads that appear while surfing or even appear when you are not surfing, icons suddenly appear on your desktop, and/or there are changes to your browser home page or to other settings.
